When vivacious, successful and single actress Anushka Sharma meets the equally charming and popular actor Ranbir Kapoor, it’s just the kind of combo to generate serious buzz..

The grapevine has it that there has been something brewing between the two after apparently being spotted together on numerous occasions.

The pretty actress, however, is not amused with the rumours. “I have no idea how these stories come out. Who concocts them? News of Ranbir being my latest object of fancy is bizarre; it’s far from the truth. We have met a couple of times socially and that’s it. As actors if we hang out together, how does it translate to anything more than friendship? Ranbir is a great guy, a very cool person to hang out with and I have the highest respect for him. Why can’t it just be that way?” asks Anushka Sharma.

But there’s another name that’s been constantly linked to her, and that’s actor Ranveer Singh, her earlier co-star. They are set to do a film yet again. Are there any sparks flying there? “I am not going to say a cliched we are good friends. In fact we are very good friends and he is perhaps one of the very few people I am close to. I only have a few friends in the industry and he is the closest I am to. We meet, catch up, go for dinners and party together - all this I am not going to deny but I am definately not romantically involved with anyone.”

A visibly upset Anushka Sharma says she has always been clear about not discussing her personal life, lest it gains more importance than her work. “We are all here to work and I’d rather be written about my work than my relationships or attitude. More than anything else it is just disrespectful for the person in question. Though I am learning to take these things with a pinch of salt, these rumours are upsetting.”

Though there isn’t any special someone in her life right now, the actor is hoping she finds her man, soon. “I don’t get hit on by men at all, which is not a very good thing. I hardly go out and meet new people so I guess it gets really difficult to meet men beyond your work, but I’m still hopeful”, she winks.

Acting is no easy task, is something that we have heard actors telling us time and again. However, the stress levels in this profession can at times have serious effect on one's health and the latest to fall victim to this is actress Sonam Kapoor.

Actress Sonam Kapoor has been hospitalized due to exhaustion! The busy Bollywood starlet has been so hard at work lately that she had to check in to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai earlier today to get some rest.
Sonam Kapoor recently shot Thank You, Players and Mausam. She has also hit the promotions trail for her fun flick Thank You that co-stars Akshay Kumar. And we guess her hectic schedule ended up being too much for the B-town beauty to handle.

Last year fellow Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif was admitted to the hospital a few times for exhaustion and there were even rumors that the Tees Maar Khan star collapsed on the set of the movie while shooting a scene with Akshay Kumar.

Looks like Akki's co-stars don't have any luck when it comes to their on-set health! 

Hope the actress gets some much needed rest and is back to the best of health soon. We wish her a speedy recovery.

Imran’s debut in bollywood was all because of his Mamu Jaan Aamir Khan but he really proved his ability through his debut it self. The movie was hit and so was Imran. He became the most wanted bachelor in bollywood.

Recently Imran Khan replaced Akshay Kumar for brand ambassador of denim jeans. This is the same jeans brand on which Akshay Kumar was arrested for the offensive behavior in the public. Twinkle had unbuttoned Akshay Kumar jeans in public when he asked her to do so while he was on the ramp during a fashion show in March, 2009.

The sources say that the company wanted a young fresh face so they approached Imran Khan. Earlier we heard that Ranbir was passing all his assignments to Imran but later Imran denied it.
Akshay Kumar, his wife Twinkle and the organiser were booked after an "unbuttoning" act during the Lakme India Fashion week. Akshay's wife Twinkle was also arrested under the same charges and immediately released on bail. A Mumbai-based social worker had lodged a police complaint against Akshay Kumar, Twinkle and the organisers for his alleged obscene behaviour in public.

Well lets just hope that Imran don’t end up doing this kind of thing.

Salman Khan speak up for Shiney Ahuja

Bollywood star Salman Khan was shocked when he heard actor Shiney Ahuja has been sentenced to seven years in prison in a rape case. But he hopes the actor will eventually be declared innocent.

"Seven years? Seven years is a lot! I have been locked up myself, so I know what happens," said Salman Khan, who himself has had brief stints in jail.

The 45-year-old actor, who was embroiled in a hit-and-run case as well as in a black buck shooting case, has good wishes for Shiney, who was sentenced by a Mumbai sessions court Wednesday.

"I hope he (Shiney) is innocent, and if anyone is trying to frame him, that person should come out in the open. Seven year jail term is too long, especially if someone has lied about it," added Salman Khan.

Shiney, best known for films like Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Gangster and Life...In A Metro, was arrested June 15, 2009, after medical tests on his maid confirmed sexual assault. He was granted bail in October 2009.

In September 2010, the maid retracted her statement and told the court that the rape never took place. She also stated before the judge that she made the serious charge against Shiney because of pressure from a woman who introduced her to the actor.

In a 109-page chargesheet, Shiney was accused of rape, criminal intimidation and holding his maid hostage.

In his defence, Shiney had argued that he was being framed.

Sonakshi Sinha could never imagine that her one playful prank could make her fans angry. The actress posted a morphed image on her Twitter account, and her Pakistani fans started unfollowing her. What was there in the image that angered her fans so much?

It showed Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi getting whacked on his butt by an Indian batsman, and Sonakshi Sinha added the caption ‘De ghumaaaaake! Hehehehahahaha.’

Phir kya! her fans from Pakistan couldn’t stand the image and the caption.

They flooded her account with hate replies. One message read: “u shouldnt be doing dis, ur father never did dis kind of thing, not even sallu bhai, learn something from them.” Another message said: “Sonakshi Sinha just because of this cheap act of yours . . . I am unfollowing you.” Some even said that Sonakshi Sinha doesn’t have any class.

“You should be a goodwill ambassador between your country and other countries, itna har waqt salman khan salman khan karti rehti ho..usse hi kuch seekhlo tum” reads another reply. But Indian fans liked her zeal and guts and praised her for ‘Dabangg’ act.

Sonakshi Sinha soon realized that she has hurt the feeling of her fans from Pakistan, and asked them to take the tweeted image in good spirit: “Pak fans very upset. jung ke maidan mein ladne se toh accha hi hai khel ke maidan mein ladein! I am all for love thy neighbour. Be a sport yaar.”

Superstar Shahrukh Khan, who caught the historic India-Pakistan World Cup semifinal with his friends at his residence Mannat, said India was going to win the final as well.
Shahrukh Khan is going to watch Saturday's India-Sri Lanka final at Wankhade Stadium with his children.

"We will win the final also. I have bought an extra T-Shirt for that... so I have to go there and watch the final Inshallah! The kids want to go and see," Shahrukh Khan told reporters at Mannat.

In the high-voltage match, master-blaster Sachin Tendulkar missed his 100th international century by 15 runs.

The actor, sporting a Team India T-shirt with denim jeans, said such great players shouldn't be put under pressure.

"Sachin is the peg for the team and I think 85 is a great score. You know, for Sachin Tendulkar you needn't worry if he misses century once. I think we shouldn't put such pressure on him. He doesn't come under any pressure because he is used to it," he said.
Shahrukh Khan was watching the match with Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar, Sussanne Roshan, Karishma Kappor, Sanjay Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, Arjun Rampal, Prateik Babbar, Chunky Pandey, among others.
