Prachi Desai

Prachi Desai (Gujarati: પ્રાચી દેસાઈ; born 12 September 1988) is an Indian film and television actress. She is best so known for her role as Bani Walia in the Hindi television drama. Kasamh Se which aired on Zee TV.Prachi is the endorser, spokesperson, brand ambassador and the face of Neutrogena products in India.

Prachi was born in Surat, Gujarat.She studied in St Joseph Convent, Panchgani and completed her schooling till ninth grade in Surat.After that, she went to Pune for higher studies. She studied at Sinhagad college, Vadgaon, Pune.

She started her career with a short modeling workshop. She was in Pune for higher studies and had almost finished her junior college when her pictures were sent to Balaji Telefilms who called her for audition. She was 17 when she left her studies and started her career with Kasamh Se.

Prachi Desai Television

Prachi starred in the serial Kasamh Se on Zee TV that got her fame.She left Kasamh Se on 15 April 2008 and was replaced by Gurdeep Kohli, after being burnt and drowned in episode 562.Kasamh Se ended 12 March 2009. In the last episode, Prachi Desai made a special appearance as the former Bani.

She also did a two day cameo in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, which was aired on Star Plus. She played a school student in Prerna's school.

On 7 September 2007, Prachi entered Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, the Indian version of America's dancing show, Dancing With The Stars, with choreographer Deepak Singh.She was eliminated on 10 November 2007. However, she entered the contest again via the wild-card entry on 23 November 2007. Prachi then landed a spot in the grand finale of the dance show on 15 December 2007 and won the first place amongst the contestants. She was awarded the dancing star of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2. It was alleged that she was made to return as a wild card entry in spite of her elimination due to a direct intervention from her close personal friend, Ekta Kapoor, though the channel denied the allegations.

Prachi also competed in a tribute show to Jhalak competition called Dard-e-Disco, alongside other former contestants, which aired on Sony Entertainment Television Asia on 31 December 2007.

Prachi Desai Films

Her first film was Rock On!! (2008), where she played the wife of Farhan Akhtar. Prachi had to leave her role of "Bani" in Kasamh Se to act in Rock On. Her next film was Life Partner (2009). In July 2010, she appeared in Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai co-starring with Ajay Devgan, Emraan Hashmi and Kangana Ranaut.

Prachi is currently working on her fourth film titled Joker opposite television actor Rajeev Khandelwal. The film is set for release around December 2011. In March 2011, she will start working in her first Tamil project, titled Thadaiyara Thaakka opposite Arun Vijay, directed by Magizh Thirumeni.

Anjana Sukhani Early life

Anjana Sukhani was born to a Sindhi family in Jaipur on December 10, 1978. She did her schooling from first till tenth standard in Mumbai at Kamla High School way back in 1994, Khar. Academically inclined, she holds a Management Degree in International Business. Her sister Meena Sukhani made her debut in the movie Bachna Ae Haseeno; she was one of Minisha Lamba's friends.

Anjana Sukhani put her academic pursuits behind to pursue acting. During the early years of her career, she was cast in a television advertisement for Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolates with the Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan.She was also noted for her performance in the remixed Hindi music video for the song Ghar Jayegi. Even though she does not have a film industry related background, she has figured in sizeable roles like in the 2007 multi-starrer blockbuster film Salaam-e-Ishq, following which she starred in Golmaal Returns, a sequel to the 2006 hit film Golmaal. Hansika attended Podar International School. Hansika mainly speaks Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, English, Hindi and Tulu, although her native tongue is Sindhi. Her father is Pradeep Motwani, a businessman, and her mother is Seema Motwani, a dermatologist. She is learning Tamil as she is making her debut in the Tamil film industry.

She began her television career with a serial called Shakalaka Boom Boom, a story about a boy named Sanju and his magic pencil. Hansika made her debut as a leading actress in Bollywood with Himesh Reshammiya in Aap Kaa Surroor – The Real Luv Story. She played the role of Himesh Reshammiya's lover Ria. The film was released on 29 June 2007 and was a moderate hit movie in India. John Abraham (Hindi: जॉन अब्राहम; born 17 December 1972) is an Indian actor and model.

After modeling for numerous advertisements and companies, Abraham made his film debut with Jism (2003), which earned him a Filmfare Best Debut Award nomination. This was followed by his first commercial success, Dhoom (2004). He received two Filmfare Award nominations, for his negative roles in Dhoom, and then in Zinda (2006). He later appeared in the major critical success Water (2005).In 2007, he was nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for the film Baabul (2006).

Abraham was born in Mumbai to a Malayali father and a Parsi mother. His father is an architect from Alwaye, Kerala; his mother is named Phiroza Irani. Abraham's Parsi name is "Farhan" while his father being a Syrian Christian (Syrian Malabar Nasrani) named him "John". He has a younger brother, Alan.

He studied economics at the Bombay Scottish School, Mahim in Mumbai and got his MBA from the Mumbai Educational Trust (MET).

Abraham started his modelling career appearing in the music video of the song "Surma" by Punjabi singer Jazzy B. He then joined the media firm Time & Space Media Entertainment Promotions Ltd., which, however, closed because of financial problems. Later, he worked for Enterprises-Nexus as a media planner.

In 1999, he won the Gladrags Manhunt Contest and went to the Philippines for Manhunt International, where he won second place. Following this, he was signed by Carrie Models in Singapore and did some modelling there; he later modelled in Hong Kong, London and New York City. He also appeared in a number of commercial advertisements and in other music videos for singers including Pankaj Udhas, Hans Raj Hans and Babul Supriyo. To improve his acting skills, Abraham joined the Kishore Namit Kapoor acting laboratory and completed an acting course while juggling modelling assignments.

In 2005 he starred in the supernatural thriller Kaal and the comedy Garam Masala both of which did well at the box office.Later that year, he had a major role in the critically acclaimed film Water, which portrayed the tragic fate of Hindu widows in British India of the 1930s. The film was written and directed by independent Canadian film-maker Deepa Mehta. It was popular internationally, and was nominated for the 2006 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film at the 79th Academy Awards.

In the summer of 2006, Abraham performed at the "Rockstars Concert" along with fellow Bollywood actors Salman Khan, Zayed Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Esha Deol, Shahid Kapoor and Mallika Sherawat.In that same year, he starred in the films Zinda, Taxi No 9211, Baabul and Kabul Express.Among these Taxi No 9211 and Kabul Express were substantially successful.

Nikhil Advani's multi-starrer Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute to Love was Abraham's first release in 2007. The movie failed to do well at the Indian box office,[8] though it did well in the overseas markets.[9] His last two 2007 releases included the arthouse thriller No Smoking and the sports film Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal.

In 2008, Abraham starred alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra in Dostana, his only release that year. Produced by Karan Johar, the film performed well at the box office.

His first release of 2009 was another much awaited production by Yash Raj Films, New York. The film was a critical and commercial success. It followed the lives of three best friends after the September 11 attacks in New York City.

He has a fashion line— branded JA Clothes — which primarily features his favorite article of clothing, jeans.

Abraham has been dating actress Bipasha Basu since 2002. The couple is often cited as a supercouple in India.

Social causes

Abraham also associates himself deeply in the social causes and urges youngsters also to join hands in this humanity mankind. When asked about his work, he said:
