Ranbir Kapoor, who will be seen giving batting tips to cricketer Virender Sehwag in a new TV commercial, actually taught him to dance during the shooting of the ad.

Ranbir, who has showcased his dancing prowess in movies like "Saawariya", "Bachna Ae Haseeno" and "Anjaana Anjaani", has teamed up with the cricketer for Pepsi`s cricket World Cup special commercial.

"Thoda grace se hila... Kamar bhi hila… shakal pe expression la… Upar se aane ka, niche dabane ka, piche uthane ka, haan!" will be the background song for the ad.

A source from the sets revealed that Sehwag was initially shy, but being a true sportsman, quickly got into the groove and started following Ranbir`s instructions on the dance floor.

The actor sports a loud and carefree look in the ad, which has been designed by Aki Narula who gave him a pair of ripped jeans and a colourful bold checked shirt to wear over a white fitted tee.

To complete the edgy and chilled out look, Narula decided to give Ranbir white wayfarers, a chic hat and a leather cuff.

For the first Ranbir wears a ponytail, styled by Hakim Aalim.

The new commercial will go on air Saturday.

Shahrukh fan spends $3300 to meet his Idol

Mehjabeen Erum Alim, of Bangladesh, kept a patient vigil and spent a whopping 10,000 ringgit (about $3,300) over two days to meet Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan along with some other fans in Malacca.

She did realise her dream -- but the actor only smiled, gave autographs, posed for photographs and left, blowing flying kisses. Mehjabeen was told that he does not speak before shooting to stay within the character he is playing.

Khan, who is on a month's schedule to shoot a sequel to his earlier blockbuster Don, saw the news of Mehjabeen spending big money on her vigil in The Star.

"Fortunately, he spotted us just as he was about to get into the car and agreed to sign autographs," Mehjabeen said, adding that she managed to draw his attention to the story in the daily about her wish to meet him. Khan autographed the news article for her.

"It is an indescribable feeling and I am so happy to have finally met him. I feel like I am in dreamland," Mehjabeen said after meeting Khan at a resort in Ayer Keroh town.

Khan met her and seven other fans at the resort just as he was about to enter his car to go to the film location for his latest movie Don 2.

Mehjabeen, 27, is happy, but not satisfied. She said she would still love to meet him again just to hear his voice.

"It was just a fleeting moment and he didn't say a word but merely nodded and gestured to us as he rarely speaks before filming so as not to come out of the character he is playing," Mehjabeen, pursuing her masters in business administration in Kuala Lumpur, said.

Besides taking home memories of the meeting with Khan, she said she was glad to have made new friends who shared a similar passion for the Bollywood heartthrob.

Immensely popular in Malaysia, Khan was conferred the title of Datuk, akin to knighthood, by the Sultan of Malacca in 2009.

Friends and co-workers swear by Salman Khan's warm helpful nature. The actor is now lending a helping hand to Kangna Ranaut for her next film with Madhavan Tanu weds Manu.

The lead pair had appeared on Bigg Boss 4 and had talked about the film. Also, Kangna and Khan are both currently shooting in Bangkok for their respective films.

They were staying at the same hotel, and would often bump into each other.

During one such chance encounter, Kangna began talking about her upcoming film, and sought help from Salman for some cool marketing ideas.

"She said the film is very close to her heart and that she would appreciate any help. Salman, whose last film Dabangg was brilliantly marketed, advised her on how to go about it.

Then he went two steps ahead and called channel heads like Ashwini Yardi (Colours) and Manisha (Sony) to put in a word to drum support for the film on the channel's daily soaps and reality shows."

Kangna says, "Salman has been very sweet and helpful and I really appreciate his gesture and taking time out to help me, in spite of being such a big star. He is a good friend."

However, Shahid Kapoor came out clear on this by saying that he is only working for Mausam for the time being because his role requires a lot of his time and concentration.

Shahid Kapoor said, “Yes, I am doing only one film: Mausam at this moment. Doing this doesn't mean that it will be a trend henceforth. I am sticking to doing only one film because Mausam requires my time and attention. It is my father's most cherished scripts and I want to be part of this emotional journey. That is the main reason for doing only one film at a time. But, in future I would love to do at least three films a calendar. I am open to all possibilities, there's no trend that I am following or setting in."

Shahid flies in F-16 at Aero India Show

If one saw Shahid Kapoor before boarding the F-16 Super Viper, munching a banana one would have thought that he is a pro waiting to take the fighter on a regular spin. So on the last day of the Aero India Show at Bangalore on Saturday before Shahid took the Lockheed Martin F-16 he addressed the crowds stated that more than fear it’s the excitement that’s ruling his emotions.

The actor who is currently shooting for his father Pankaj Kapoor’s directorial debut film ‘Mausam’ even had the nerve to make some fun before taking the F-16 seat. Shahid said that being inside F-16 is less difficult than disobeying Pankaj Kapoor. In the film Shahid plays the role of a fighter plane pilot and the producer and the director of the film wanted him to have the first hand experience in being inside a fighter.

Prior to the flight on the fourth day of the five-day biennial mega air show, Kapoor underwent mandatory health check-ups and was found fit to fly in the combat aircraft.

"It`s a huge honour and privilege to fly such a magnificent aircraft. I wanted to have real-time experience of flying a fighter before action in the movie," the 30-year-old actor said.

After completing the spin and being air-borne for an hour the elated and excited actor stated that the pilot of the F-16 Super Viper even allowed him to control the stick of the plane and they went up to 10,000 feet. Shahid was thrilled to be inside the fighter while it did the dog fights and even maneuvered the plane 360 degree. Well this was really an awesome experience that Shahid Kapoor will cherish all throughout his life.

Salman to do Pag Gunghroo for 'Dabangg 2'

Salman Khan sure knows the value of his 'Dabangg' franchise. And he's going all out to make sure that the sequel is just as much fun as the original was.

Bollywood star salman Khan is planning to do a Pag Ghunghroo number in the sequel to Dabangg, says a media report.Big B's iconic number from Namak Halaal may be 'Salmanized' in Dabangg 2, says the report.

The report says, the idea of Chulbul Pandey taking on a room full of gorgeous socialites, in the company of his screen-wife Sonakshi Sinha, at a posh bash is being seriously worked out.Salman Khan has finally allotted bulk dates to Dabangg 2 from December 2011 onwards.

Brother and producer Arbaaz Khan has made it clear that every member in the cast and crew is dispensable if they do not adjust to Salman's dates. Salman has allotted dates from the end of December 2011 for Dabangg 2. And that, to Arbaaz, is all that matters.

"The rest of the cast and crew will have to work their way around Salman's dates. I am very clear on that Dabangg 2 can be made without anybody but not without Salman. He IS Dabangg.

"Getting his dates is not easy. I'm lucky he has given me bulk dates because he's my brother and because Dabangg is his franchise as much as mine. We're not budging from the core issue, namely Salman's dates. Other characters from Dabangg are welcome to stay or we'll replace them. If Salman can work out his dates a year in advance, so can they."

In Dabangg 2, the character of Chulbul Pandey will be seen arrogantly dealing with the elite in the city without caring a damn about what they think of his boorish rusticity. The reference-point is Peter Sellers in 'The Party'.The sequel will take Salman's Chulbul out of the small dusty crusty North Indian town straight into the metropolis.

What is left to be decided is whether the move into the city would culminate in Mumbai or another plusher unexplored city outside India.

Says Arbaaz, "I'm not revealing any details. If I divulge everything about Dabangg 2 now, why would anyone pay good money to watch it? All I can tell you is that Salman now moves from a rustic setting to a city one. We'll now follow his adventures in the city. Chulbul Pandey will remain exactly the same. How can he change? Only his milieu will change entirely," reveals Arbaaz.

Aamir outshines Shahrukh Khan by charging Rs 30 Crore

Aamir Khan will soon be overtaking Shahrukh Khan as he will be charging almost Rs 30 crore for a movie. According to sources, Aamir has entered into such a profit sharing agreement with film maker Aditya Chopra that he’ll be overtaking all the Khans by a clean margin.

As Aamir is not producing Dhoom 3, he has asked for a profit-sharing agreement with Chopra, which will be over and above his usual acting fee. According to trade figures Dhoom 2 had made a gross business of Rs 134 crore in India and about the same amount from the overseas market. Going by the present market dynamics, Aamir's figures are expected to cross the jaw-dropping magic mark of Rs 100 crore.

According to sources, even if the film becomes half as popular as the other two Dhooms, Aamir will take home around Rs 100 crore.

It is pertinent to add that most actors being part-producers get the negative and satellite rights of the film. But in this case, since it is Chopra's production, those rights rest with him and Aamir will be paid an acting fee. Sources say that the profit sharing arrangement is part of the fee.

All the male participants of "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa- 4" proposed Priyanka Chopra when she went to the sets of reality show to shoot for the Valentine's Day special episode.

While each male contestant popped the question in his own way, the only one to catch her attention was actress Mahii Vij's choreographer Savio.

Savio chose to propose to Priyanka in the signature Shahrukh Khan style from his movie "Darr", and it hit bull's eye! Priyanka was quite floored and agreed to shake a leg with him on her famous dance number "Pehli baar mohabbat ki hai".

Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan arrested at Delhi airport

New Delhi: Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was arrested at the Indira Gandhi International Airport today.

Rahat was held for carrying foreign currency worth Rs. 60 lakh.

The singer was intercepted by officials of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) on the basis of prior information.

Confirming the development, S Dutt Majumdar, chairman of the Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) told NDTV that Khan was on his way to Dubai.
An event manager was also arrested alongwith Khan.

The popular singer, who has crooned several Bollywood chartbusters, had flown from Karachi to Delhi.

Khan, the 37-year-old nephew of Pakistani singing legend Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was earlier too involved in a controversy, when organisers of a concert in Gurgaon filed a police complaint against him in July last year for his failure to turn up for a show.

Khan has several hit numbers to his credit and had won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer this year for 'Dil To Bachcha Hai Ji' from the movie 'Ishqiya'.

It has been confirmed that Priyanka Chopra will be playing the female lead in Rakesh Roshan’s Krrish 2, the sequel to 2006’s superhero blockbuster, which had also featured the leggy lass opposite Hrithik Roshan. Our source, confirming the news, says, “Rakesh Roshan has zeroed in on Priyanka Chopra. Krrish was a huge hit and the director felt that people still associate Hrithik and Priyanka with the franchise. And secondly, she was just apt for the role the director had in mind.”

The Chopra girl is also eager to work with the Roshans again. “Whenever any director has repeated her after a film, Priyanka feels honoured and privileged. First it was Vishal Bhardwaj who cast her in 7 Khoon Maaf after Kaminey. And now Rakesh Roshan has repeated her for the Krrish sequel. She is looking forward to the film now,” our source added.

Rana has Rajini in a triple role and is directed by K.S. Ravikumar. Considering Rajini’s pan-Asian market, the makers are looking out for an actress who has a national presence. The initial buzz was that slender, leggy Deepika Padukone was the lead contender and that she would adjust her dates to work in the film.

Now, it is reliably learnt that Asin, who had worked with Ravikumar in Varalaru, has been approached and even a one-line summary of the script has been narrated to her. Sources add that Asin, who made a comeback in Tamil with Vijay in Kaavalan, is also keen to team up with the superstar, provided the script fascinates her. The movie has A.R. Rahman composing the tracks.

Meanwhile, back in Mumbai, Asin has signed Sajid Nadiadwala’s Housefull 2 with Akshay Kumar. The southern beauty is also holding discussions with King Khan for the film 2 States. Reportedly, Asin will be starring opposite Shah Rukh in the adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s novel. SRK is co-producing the film and is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. Anjana Sukhani Early life

Anjana Sukhani was born to a Sindhi family in Jaipur on December 10, 1978. She did her schooling from first till tenth standard in Mumbai at Kamla High School way back in 1994, Khar. Academically inclined, she holds a Management Degree in International Business. Her sister Meena Sukhani made her debut in the movie Bachna Ae Haseeno; she was one of Minisha Lamba's friends.

Anjana Sukhani Film and modeling career

Anjana Sukhani put her academic pursuits behind to pursue acting. During the early years of her career, she was cast in a television advertisement for Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolates with the Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan.She was also noted for her performance in the remixed Hindi music video for the song Ghar Jayegi. Even though she does not have a film industry related background, she has figured in sizeable roles like in the 2007 multi-starrer blockbuster film Salaam-e-Ishq, following which she starred in Golmaal Returns, a sequel to the 2006 hit film Golmaal. Her latest releases are Jai Veeru, Jashnn and her Kannada debut film MaLeyali Jotheyali alongside popular actor Ganesh and Yuvika Chaudhary.She has been cast in Tollywood actor Ravi Teja's film Don Seenu marking her entry into Tollywood.
