The Supreme Court on Monday rejected the plea of Bollywood producer Shakeel Noorani regarding the cancellation of Sanjay Dutt’s bail in 1993 Mumbai blast.

The producer who has financial disputes with the actor approached the Supreme Court stating that he was being threatened by the underworld on Sanjay Dutt’s behest.

Dismissing the petition of the producer, the Supreme Court said, “You can't use this court to solve your problems with the actor. In a criminal matter, how can a financier make a petition? You file an FIR. We are dismissing your petition".
Advocate Sanjay Hegde who represented the producer, pleaded the court to hear his petition out. The advocate stated that they had already filed an FIR but nothing was done about it.
“My life is being threatened by the underworld and I have already filed an FIR in the case," Hegde said speaking on behalf of his client.
