Emraan - I have a different look in 'Murder 2'
Emraan Hashmi was asked to gain weight for his character in Dibakar Banerji's Shanghai, which goes on floors at the end of April.
After wrapping up the shoot of Murder 2, the actor went on a holiday to Amsterdam, where the envied combination of chilling, partying, eating and sleeping helped him to add some beef to his structure.
Just when Hashmi's vacation was serving its purpose, he had to cut short his holiday and return to India to shoot for a song and tie-up the loose ends of Mohit Suri's Murder 2. Unfortunately, this meant that the actor had to shed all the weight he had gained in Amsterdam.
When contacted, Hashmi said, "I start shooting for Dibakar's Shanghai in April end. He had asked me to add some weight for the film. I was holidaying and doing just that. However, Mohit had this brilliant song for Murder 2 and so he called me back to Mumbai.
Since, I have a different look in Murder 2, I am back to working out with my trainer Tokus. He has given me a diet plan and seven days to get back into shape. However, after that I will need to gain weight again for Dibakar's film."
When asked how he will attempt this weight yo-yo, he said, "I don't know but it is going to be a roller coaster ride losing, gaining, losing and gaining weight again."
