Lara Dutta doesn't need Shahrukh and Akshay
On asking Lara about her pairing opposite Vinay Pathak who does not belong to the category of superstars like Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar, she explains, “I think it’s not necessary that you do all films with superstars. If one thinks that you have to do all films with superstar the person will never get a chance, to do something on-screen.”
She further adds, “Whatever characters I am offered, I always make a decision to do even if the film is a big film or small, whether I am paired or not opposite a big hero, I would take a chance to do it.”
Mrs. Bhupathi explains by citing an example, “’No Entry’ has been a landmark in my career and I think I have done my best performance in it and I watch it again and again. I At that point of time, I was paired opposite a much older hero Anil Kapoor, but I don’t think that things like that should stop you from achieving what you want and cannot control yourself.”
