Katrina and Priyanka cold war heats up
Katrina and Priyanka Chopra were signed up for the remake of the Anne Hathaway, Katrina Kaif Hudson starrer ‘Bride Wars’ and they were supposed to start shooting this year. However, things took a drastic turn and they were no more in the project. Here’s how it happened.
It started during the shooting of ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ when news broke out of Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir gelling extremely well both on and off the set. From no where, Katrina Kaif immediately landed on the sets to declare her position in his life making PC back away from RK.
Now both the actress cannot stand each other. It is said that Katrina walked out of ‘Bride Wars’ remake as she was not on talking terms with Priyanka Chopra.
Reports were also there Katrina Kaif walked out of Anurag Basu’s project after she learnt that Priyanka Chopra was playing a parallel role in the flick. Interestingly, the film has Ranbir Kapoor in the lead. Now reason of Katrina Kaif moving out was clear enough; she was in no mood to share the stage with her arch rival Priyanka Chopra opposite her heartthrob.
After failed attempt by Anurag Basu to bring Priyanka Chopraand Katrina Kaif together in a film, the Roshans seems to have done the impossible. Reports are there that Katrina Kaif has been taken on board for a lead role in ‘Krrish’ 2. While buzz is also there arch rival Priyanka Chopra may also join Katrina Kaif for the sequel of the superhero flick. And if sources are to be believed, a whole new track was woven in to a new script of ‘Krrish 2’ to accommodate Katrina Kaif into it.
However, if this was not enough, here’s more. Tinsel town is also buzzing with reports Katrina Kaif, who has worked with Hrithik in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Zindagi Milegi Na Dubaara’ has created a significant space for herself in Roshan’s site and is cutting PC’s part from the movie to a large.
Hmmm, poor Priyanka Chopra! She doesn’t even know about what’s happening at her back.
One film-old Sonakshi Sinha is the latest addition who has entered into word war with Kareena Kapoor over her ‘size-zero’ fatigue. Sonakshi, who prefers being voluptuous categorically, refused to go size zero and quoted, “I disapprove of zero-figures instead would want to be fit and healthy with few kilos put on. I agree I have lost weight post ‘Dabangg’ but will never reduce so much that I go invisible.”
